it's Anna's birthday next week so i took her to Tallinn yesterday. i had been thinking for a while now that it would be fun to go there for a day trip and then realised that her bday was coming up and that it would be the perfect gift for her. so i bought us boat tickets and told her to mark the day into her calender. i didn't tell her what we were doing, just gave her a list of things she needed to bring with. i might have tricked her a bit with that list but oh well;)
(i'm sorry about the photo vomit that's about to happen! )
our boat was late and the ride there took longer than usual, so we only had little over 4 hours to spend in the city, which didn't leave us that much time to do anything special. basically we just wandered around the old town, ate great (and cheap!!!) lunch at a restaurant my friend recommended to us and that was basically it :D but it was nice, it was pretty much the perfect fall day, sun was shining and it wasn't too cold even if it was a bit windy. i had a great time and this kind of little getaway was just what i needed in the middle of a hectic work week.
49 days until my birthday. i'm sure it's going to be something AH-mazing. just sayin' ;)
